Internal Fit-out

Went up today to meet the new site supervisor and see how the internal fit-out is progressing.

Really happy with the recent progress. It looks so far away from the shell we were looking at a few weeks ago. There's a few issues such as incorrect cabinetry fitted in a couple of rooms and the balusters on the stairs not being right, but these are easily fixed and nothing to worry about.

Another site supervisor

Just taken a call from Porter Davis today to inform me that my current site supervisor has left the company and that a new supervisor will be taking over from tomorrow.

This will now be my 4th site supervisor during this build. Fingers crossed that this doesn't put us back any further than we already are while they try to get up to speed.

Plaster Complete

We couldn't wait to get up and see the house after being sent a few photos by the supervisor this week showing us that the scaffolding was down and the plaster had started. Footie Friday (public holiday) and a perfect 27deg spring day seemed like the ideal opportunity.

Wow, what a difference it all makes!
