Really happy with the recent progress. It looks so far away from the shell we were looking at a few weeks ago. There's a few issues such as incorrect cabinetry fitted in a couple of rooms and the balusters on the stairs not being right, but these are easily fixed and nothing to worry about.

Coming along nicely! Can I ask what specifically was wrong with the balusters on the staircase?
ReplyDeleteWe had our staircase recently installed too (classic staircase option 2 also) but I don't think ours have been measured correctly.
We don't like the fancy balustrade they put every 4th one and specifically requested that they be removed and replaced with a standard one. This was listed in the contract, but obviously missed by the installer.

DeleteNot a chance. The new supervisor confirmed yesterday. It's a shame as it would have been great to be in before xmas, but at least we now have a definite answer and also benefit from the fact that things won't be rushed to be finished in time - which i prefer.
